Netherlands Academy of Engineering gets acquainted with Iron Power

Last week we hosted the Forum Meeting of the Netherlands Academy of Engineering (NAE) in our Future Energy Lab in Budel.

The topic of the meeting was:

Grid congestion, key or final element of the energy transition?

A topic that Metalot and the Iron Power Community are continuously discussing and of course developing.

The meeting was filled with speakers who each made their own contribution to the topics. Iron Power was also introduced during the meeting thanks to the lecture by Professor Philip de Goey.

Afterwards, the NAE members present were given a tour of the Future Energy Lab and, under the guidance of Stijn van Aken, project leader of Metalot, the necessary explanations were given and pressing questions from the members were answered.

It is wonderful to see how Iron Power is finding its way into the world and in this way increasing visibility and awareness at various levels.

Behind the scenes, we are busy setting up the Iron Power Community website.

A central website in which all information about Iron Power, the active parties and the projects is visible. Metalot acts as an independent, non-commercial player in the role of community builder.

We aim for a launch in mid-December 2024.
